Declaration of Major:
As a student you are required to choose a major by the end of your second year. However you may do so as early as the second semester of your freshman year. You may formally indicate your choice of major by coming to the Biology Department and completing a Declaration of Major form. At that time, you will be assigned an advisor based on the availability of the faculty members. Each faculty member serves as an advisor in addition to his or her other responsibilities. Declaring a major can be done any day between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the O. Wayne Rollins Research Center, room 2006.
